The Departments that fall under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Public Works are as follows:

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, PARKS AND PUBLIC PROPERTY, to wit:

• Public Works Department and employees therein, including:
  • Trash and Recycling operations
  • Streets and Roads maintenance and operations
  • Shade Trees planting and maintenance
  • Repair and upkeep of all Borough owned or leased buildings and property, except as they may be otherwise designated
• Utility (Water and Sewer) Department and employees therein
• Municipal Hall at 242 Kings Highway East, use, management, supervision and maintenance of and buildings on grounds thereof
• Public Library Building and Grounds, maintenance of
  • Recreation, Parks and Playgrounds
  • Street Lighting
  • Senior Citizen programs and facilities
  • Information Center operations
• Clean Communities Officer
• Borough Engineer
• Shade Tree Commission
• Environmental Commission
• Senior Citizen Advisory Board
• Recreation Council
