General Information

The Clean Communities Program is a state-wide initiative dedicated to improving our quality of life by making New Jersey Cleaner and Greener.

Cleaner: by reducing the amount of litter in our communities and along our roadways.

Greener: by encouraging us to Reuse and Recycle, thereby reducing our solid-waste stream.

Events:

EARTH DAY
(SPRING CLEANUP DAY)

Thanks to all the individuals and groups who participated in Haddonfield's annual Spring Cleanup Day, Saturday, April 30. Volunteers focused on parks and public spaces across the borough. It was a beautiful day, and regardless of what they were doing -- picking up litter, raking, or cutting brush -- everybody seemed to enjoy themselves. Like an old-fashioned barn raising, getting together with neighbors for the annual spring cleanup can turn a seemingly unpleasant task into an enjoyable celebration of community.
