PROGRAMS ARE DIFFERENT EVERY FRIDAY AT THE MABEL KAY CENTER – REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED FROM 12:30 UNTIL 3:00 PM

The Senior Healthy Nutrition Program, which is held the 4th Friday of every month, has become a huge hit. Not only do the Seniors get a home cooked healthy luncheon, made by a Personal Trainer who also attended Restaurant School in Philadelphia, but information (typed and given to everyone) on everything from home remedies for many ailments, the best foods to help fight off diseases such as various types of cancer, heart disease, strokes, Alzheimer’s and the list goes on. It is very informative and a lot fun in a relaxed atmosphere. The Luncheon is for residents of Haddonfield only and is free. Since beginning a few months ago, when the program began, it has grown from about 8 – 10 people to just about 20 people each time, and still growing. Space is limited but there is room at this time for a few more hungry seniors... David Mann and his wife Joanne have been preparing such mouth-watering dishes such as Shrimp Marinara w/homemade garlic bread, La Bella Eggplant Salada, homemade chicken soup and chicken salad, Quiche Lorraine and Spinach Quiche to name a few, and David’s flair for food presentation makes every meal look as good as they taste. Each person receives a cope of the recipe and each week we receive phone calls from happy seniors who have tried the recipes on friends and family and always impressed.
