December 16, 2013 Municipal Matters

Leaf Collection has ended
Due to the snow fall Public Works was unable to pick up leaves the final week of leaf collection.  They had completed three passes through the entire town and were anticipating the completion of a fourth before we received the significant snow fall on Sunday, December 8th.  At this time all trucks have been switched over for winter weather.  If the snow melts sufficiently Public Works will try and pick up those leaves that had been raked prior to the storm.  We request that NO NEW LEAVES be raked to the curb.  All leaves can be placed in the green containers for vegetative waste.
