Information About Your Water and Sewer Bill
Haddonfield and NJAW closed on the sale of the Water and Sewer Utility on May 21, 2015. Your last water and sewer bill from Haddonfield. NJAW will invoice monthly. The first NJAW bill will be received in the month of June.

New Jersey American Water Customer Service Center: 1-800-272-1325
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm for billing questions, non-emergency and emergency calls. This number should also be used for all emergency calls from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

New Jersey American Water also has an online self-service website which can be accessed at any time. www.amwater.com/myh2o. Be sure to have your NJAW account number handy.

2015 Capital Projects
Road Program: the following roads will be reconstructed during 2015:
Olney
Douglas
Lakeview
Euclid (West End to Avondale)

Prior to our road work NJAW is moving forward with utility work on those streets. The Utility work for Olney will completed the first week of June. The contractor will then move to Douglas which is expected to take one-two weeks. They will then move to Lakeview, followed by Euclid. It is anticipated that road reconstruction will begin shortly after Fourth of July.

NJAW is also moving forward with additional utility work on Grove Street. They will be lining the sewer main and replacing the water main from Kings Highway to Lake Street. It is anticipated that this work will take place in July and August.

North Haddon Ave Parking Lot Reconstruction
The Commissioners will be authorizing this project at their June 9 meeting. It is anticipated that bids will be received in late June with construction taking place this summer.

Repairs to the intersection of Lincoln and Chestnut
Repairs need to be made to the raised portion of this intersection. The Commissioners will also be authorizing this project at their June 9 meeting. Construction will be done during the summer months and completed prior to the start of school.

“Service Appreciation Day”
The Commissioners approved the Partnership for Haddonfield (PfH) Marketing Committee’s sponsorship of “Service Appreciation Day” in honor of our service men and women on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Vendors like the Haddonfield Police Department, Haddon Fire Co. No. 1, American Legion Post #38, US Army, US Air Force, etc., are authorized to set up tents at locations as determined by the PfH Committee, in addition to military vehicles parked on Kings Highway to be attended by military personnel.

Authorized Performance Bond Release – Grove Street Utility Improvements Program
The Commissioners authorized a release of the Performance Bond for the Grove Street Utility Improvements Project in the amount of $1,911,390.

Bid Awards
The following bids were awarded:
to GWP Enterprises, Inc., P.O. Box 498, Franklinville, New Jersey 08322 for Pot Hole Repairs
to Giles & Ransom, Inc., 2975 Galloway Road, Bensalem, Pennsylvania 19020 for the purchase of a skid steer loader.

Haddonfield Farmers Market
The Haddonfield Farmers Market will be held every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., rain or shine at King’s Court. This season there will be entertainment, a host of master gardeners, cook offs and much more. Each week’s offerings are dependent on the growing season, harvests and availability. It’s the best way to stay healthy, keep in touch with nature, and support local entrepreneurial farmers and food providers, while meeting your friends and neighbors.

4th of July Fireworks
The Commissioners authorized that a permit will be granted to the Haddonfield Celebrations Associations for the public display of fireworks as part of the Borough’s Annual Independence Day Celebrations. The fireworks display will be held in the Camden County Park system behind the High School Stadium on Friday, July 3, 2015 (rain date Saturday, July 11, 2015) between the hours of 6 p.m. and 1 p.m.
