October 1, 2020

Between September 22nd and October 1st, the Board of Commissioners was informed of the following cases:

One (1) female in her 80s,
One (1) male in his 10s,
Three (3) males in their 20s, and
One (1) male in his 50s

According to the latest information from the Camden County Department of Health, these cases bring our updated total to 117.  The Board of Commissioners was also recently informed that after reconciling data from various sources, the Borough's COVID-19 death count has been reduced from seven (7) individuals to four (4). While we are grateful to see fewer deaths here in Haddonfield as a result of the virus, we remain deeply saddened by the fact that we have lost four souls within our Borough to COVID-19.

Because of the pandemic, reducing the spread of seasonal respiratory illnesses like the flu is incredibly important.   We urge residents to continue wearing masks, washing their hands & remaining socially distant whenever possible, and to get the annual influenza vaccine.  For more information on the flu and COVID-19, visit: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/season/faq-flu-season-2020-2021.htm
