Email inspection requests to:

-All Subcode inspections are completed Monday through Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. approximately.  Exact times cannot be given since the schedule changes daily and certain inspections may unexpectedly take longer then others.
-You will receive a response via email, either confirming the requested inspection or to make additional arrangements due to availability.  If you do not receive a response by the end of the business day, please contact the Construction & Zoning Office at (856) 429-4700 ext. 210 to ensure receipt of the email.

You must provide the following information to schedule an inspection.  This information is needed for every inspection request.

Permit Number
Address
Type of Inspection - please be specific. ex: Building can be framing, insulation, footing, final, etc.
Date of Inspection - 1 or 2 days in advance (next day inspection is NOT guaranteed & will be based on availability)
Phone Number
Additional Information -
ex: Lock Box #

If any of this information is missing your inspection will not be scheduled



Important Things to Know:
1. Inspections made through the Construction Office are for new construction and renovation only. 
Applications for Fire Safety and Sidewalk Inspections for home sale and rental can be found here.
2. Emergency inspections will be performed on an as-needed basis.  Call the Construction Office at (856) 429-4700 ext. 210 when the work is completed.
3. Inspection requests will not be taken via phone and must be emailed.  This is to ensure a paper record. 

4. An inspection can not be scheduled without a permit number.  Please include a permit number with EVERY inspection request.
