Statement of November 17, 2020

The Board of Commissioners has been informed of 18 new cases of novel coronavirus (note that these cases are being reported in the order in which they were reported by the Camden County Health Department):
 
One (1) female in her 10s (between 10-19 years old),
One (1) male in his 10s,
One (1) male in his 50s,
One (1) male in his 10s,
Four (4) females in their 10s,
One (1) male juvenile (under 10 years old),
One (1) male in his 30s, 
One (1) female in her 40s,
One (1) female in her 50s
Four (4) males in their 10s
One (1) male in his 30s, and
One (1) male in his 20s.
 
This puts our Borough total at 181 cases, with the 18 cases referenced above reported between Saturday, November 14th and Tuesday, November 17th.  At their work session on November 16, 2020, the Commissioners again stressed the importance of wearing masks in all public settings, even when outdoors. 
 
 
Importantly, face coverings are required in indoor public spaces and in outdoor public spaces when social distancing is difficult to maintain.  Please also note the latest restrictions on general indoor gatherings, which are now limited to ten (10) people or 25% of a room's capacity, whichever number is lower.  All attendees at indoor gatherings must wear face coverings and stay six (6) feet apart.
