February 2, 2021

As of February 1, 2021, the Board of Commissioners has been informed of a total of 464 positive cases and nine (9) deaths in our Borough.  Since our last statement was issued on January 22nd, this is an increase of 20 cases and one (1) death. The Commissioners ask our entire community to extend their sympathies to the family & friends of the resident we recently lost.

Although many individuals are now being vaccinated, the threat of contracting the virus and becoming ill still exists. We must all continue wearing masks, washing our hands and practicing social distancing in order to prevent additional community spread and protect our most vulnerable neighbors.

County-wide updates are posted daily: https://www.camdencounty.com/service/covid-19-updates-and-preparations/most-recent-updates/

Please note that the Borough updates individual patient counts (by age range & gender) as we receive this information from the County Health Department, and these numbers are subject to change based on updated information, including contact tracing data.
