Statement from the Board of Commissioners

On Wednesday, June 17, 2020, the Board of Commissioners learned that a sixth (6th) resident has died as a result of novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The latest victim is a male in his 70s. We extend our sincere condolences to the family & friends of this community member, and hold all those affected by the virus in our thoughts & prayers.
 
The total number of COVID-19 patients within the Borough of Haddonfield is currently 55.
 
While numbers are trending in a favorable direction, there are still new cases being reported daily within our area. The Camden County Department of Health announced fourteen (14) additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. The following information is currently available regarding new patients:

While the Board of Commissioners encourages everyone to be supportive of our local business community and enjoy the outdoors, we also ask that as you visit our downtown & participate in recreation activities, you keep a distance of at least six (6) feet between you and non-household members, and wear a mask whenever social distancing is not possible. As always, we encourage residents to wash your hands often with soap & water, and stay home if you feel ill. These actions will help limit the spread of the virus.
