September 14, 2020

On the morning of September 15th, the Board of Commissioners was informed that our total number of COVID-19 cases is now 105.

The most recent cases within our Borough include:

Three (3) females in their 10s.

According to the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) Division of Viral Diseases, the more closely you interact with others and the longer that interaction, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spread.

The CDC recommends that you keep the following items on hand when leaving your home: a face mask, tissues, and hand sanitizer.

The Commissioners urge everyone to continue practicing these preventative strategies:

- Stay home if you feel sick;
- Wear masks in public settings and when around anyone who doesn't live in your household;
- Practice social distancing (stay at least 6 feet away from others); and
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at leasts 20 seconds.
