Statement from the Board of Commissioners

Between October 2nd and October 10th, the Board of Commissioners was informed of the following new case:

  • One (1) female in her 10s, and
  • Three (3) females in their 20s

This brings our updated total number of cases to 121.  The Borough's COVID-19 death count has also been adjusted again. It has increased from four (4) deaths to a total of five (5) deaths.

Upon review of recent data and guidance from the NJ Department of Health (NJ DOH), the Commissioners have cancelled our annual Halloween parade on Oct. 30th, and urge residents to refrain from going door-to-door & congregating in large groups on Halloween.  In the coming days, the Borough will provide residents with additional information, including alternative ways to celebrate Halloween. Please check Borough social media and our website regularly for details.
