Statement from the Board of Commissioners

Between Friday, May 15, 2020 and Tuesday, May 19, 2020 the Board of Commissioners have been notified of seven (7) new cases, bringing our total number of COVID-19 patients to 43.  These new cases include the following patients:
One (1) female in her 20s,
Two (2) females in their 40s,
One (1) female in her 90s,
Two (2) males in their 40s, and
One (1) male in his 60s
 
We ask everyone to continue to adhere to CDC guidelines such as hand washing, social distancing & wearing face coverings.  There is clearly still much to be done to prevent the spread of the disease, and we can all contribute to the overall health of our community by taking these precautions.  
 
The Camden County Department of Health (DOH) announced eight (8)  new deaths caused by novel coronavirus (COVID-19) within Camden County, as well as 100 additional confirmed cases of the disease today (5/19/2020). This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 5,819 within Camden County, and 280 total fatalities.
