Statement from the Board of Commissioners

The Board of Commissioners remains in regular communication with Borough employees & community volunteers, as well as State and County officials, in order to anticipate changes and adapt as New Jersey begins to reopen.

Upon review of CDC guidance and the Governor's four (4) phase plan, it was decided at our recent work session that Borough facilities, including the municipal building, athletic fields & batting cages, Mabel Kay Senior Center, 65 Club, and the Information Center, must remain closed to the public for the time being. Recreational programs and large-scale community events, such as the Independence Day festivities on July 3rd and 4th, have been cancelled and/or postponed indefinitely.  We remain committed to re-evaluating things each week, and will provide updates accordingly.

Please continue to support our Downtown Haddonfield businesses, as well as our Haddonfield Farmers Market - contact-free curbside pick up, delivery and/or takeout options abound.  Visit www.downtownhaddonfield.com and https://haddonfieldfarmersmarket.org to learn more about opportunities to shop local.

This weekend, we honor all military personnel who have died while serving in our United States Armed Forces, and hold their families in our hearts.  We also ask that you take a moment to remember those who have lost to their lives to COVID-19 in recent months.

We wish you and yours a very meaningful Memorial Day weekend.  Thank you for doing your part to keep our community healthy & safe at this time. Although we are physically distant, we remain together in spirit!
