Property Tax Bills are due February 1st, May 1st, August 1st, and November 1st. The Borough offers a 10-day grace period for payment of taxes.  If the 10th falls on a weekend or Holiday, the grace period will be the following day.
Payments received after the grace period will be charged interest back to the statutory due date of the 1st of that quarter.
Please note that we do not accept post marked envelopes or post dated checks.
*In the event that tax bills are not mailed by August 1st, the 3rd quarter tax payment will be given an extension on the
grace period. *The grace period for the 2022 3rd Quarter was extended to September 9, 2022*
Any payment received after the grace period will have interest charged back to the statutory due date as per NJSA 54:4-66

There is a black mailbox at the front of Borough Hall that is strictly for dropping off items for Borough departments.
You may put your bill & check in an envelope marked for the “Tax Office” in that black box as we check the box daily.
If you enclosed your entire tax bill, it will be stamped “Paid” and mailed back to you.
