UPDATED Statement from the Board of Commissioners

The Board of Commissioners learned on the evening of March 20, 2020 that one (1) Haddonfield resident has tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19).   The patient is a male in his forties who is currently hospitalized in stable condition.

The Borough will continue to provide COVID-19 updates on its website as new information becomes available: http://www.haddonfieldnj.org/latest_news/coronavirus_(covid-19).php
For a complete list of cases within Camden County as of March 21st, residents are encouraged to visit https://www.camdencounty.com/news/

The State of New Jersey Department of Health and the Camden County Health Department are working together to trace close contacts of these newest cases. These investigations are ongoing, and do not involve Borough officials or staff.  As such, the County Health Department and NJDOH are the most accurate source of information as to new developments.  Residents with questions or concerns related to the coronavirus should call the free, 24-hour public hotline at 1-800-222-1222 or 1-800-962-1253, or the statewide information and referral service at 2-1-1, where trained professionals are standing by to answer your questions. New Jersey residents can now also text NJCOVID to 898-211 to receive text information and stay informed. To receive live text assistance, residents can text their zip code to 898-211.  Residents should call 9-1-1 during emergencies only.

Additional information, including Governor Murphy's latest Executive Orders, can be found on the State's new website: https://covid19.nj.gov

As new testing sites and test kits become available, we anticipate the number of COVID-19 cases will rise. We encourage residents to continue to practice social distancing, and to check in with neighbors, friends & loved ones via email, phone or text.

Please help us keep our Borough safe & healthy by staying home whenever possible.
